wineries and a charming guesthouse under one roof. Weingut Andreas Eder has been a member of Vinea Wachau since 1986 and cultivates selected vineyards around Mautern. Young and old vines, meticulous craftsmanship and the family’s many years of experience shape characterful wines distinguished by natural expression, balance and pure drinking pleasure. With Propstei Weingut, Claudia and Andreas Eder also continue a special chapter of regional winemaking history. Originating from the former parish winery in the Krems rectory and closely connected to the historic Passauer Lesehof, it preserves its ecclesiastical heritage to this day: the family still produces a traditional altar wine here.
