Vintage Description:
Yellow-green, exotic appearance, orange peel, citrus, pome fruit, apricots. Enormously long on the palate. A hint of leather, a touch of caramel, immensely fruity with yellow fruit notes, a trace of gooseberries, cardamom; a very piquant wine. Perfect acidity, showing freshness, of enormous concentration, superb tannins. (Tasting note winery)wine:
Details zur Herkunft:
Wachau Smaragd:

Loess and gneissvineyard:
The grapes are sourced from vineyards surrounding the Süssenberg vineyard near Mauternbach in the Wachau region of Lower Austria. Situated on the distinctive terraced southern bank of the Danube at elevations of approximately 230 to 270 metres, the sites predominantly face south. This provides the old vines with abundant sunlight throughout the day and promotes even, complete ripening of the grapes.year:
