    Vintage Description:

Delicately smoky and spicy bouquet with yellow tropical fruit, hints of stone fruit, mandarin zest, subtle blossom honey and a touch of mint. Complex and juicy on the palate, with a substantial texture, delicate fruit sweetness at its core and a refined structure. Very elegant and persistent. An outstanding wine with excellent ageing potential. (Peter Moser – Falstaff, 6/2024)

    Ried Achleithen Riesling Smaragd

    wine description:

Ried Achleithen is one of the best-known steep vineyards in the Wachau. The name element “Ach” refers to a watercourse, while “Leiten” denotes a sloping hillside. “Extreme, south-west-facing terraces, Gföhler gneiss, the poorest soils and pure minerality for this purist Riesling, which perfectly represents our understanding of a wine’s authenticity and identity.” – Rudi Pichler –
