Vintage Description:
Brilliant, intense straw yellow with golden reflections, enlivened by a fine perlage. The nose shows pronounced citrus freshness with lemon zest, yellow apple, delicate notes of bread dough and a hint of white pepper. The Chardonnay grapes were gently pneumatically pressed as whole bunches, and the freshly clarified must was fermented into a dry base wine in used oak barrels and aged there for several months. The wine was then bottled together with the tirage liqueur made from sugar and yeast to initiate the second fermentation and the formation of the fine perlage according to the traditional method.Residual sugar:
