"Respectful, simple - moving" is the motto of Hannes and Petra Harkamp. On multi-layered slate and limestone soils, the two cultivate 20 hectares of vineyards according to biodynamic guidelines. With the 2019 vintage, the entire range of sparkling and still wines will be Demeter-certified.
Hannes Harkamp also has a special talent for producing elegant sparkling wines. This is attested to by numerous, consistently high ratings and awards for his sparkling wines produced according to the traditional bottle fermentation method. The fact that the vines as well as the people and animals are deeply rooted in the Sausal valley can be tasted more and more clearly in the products. Through the cycles of a natural, biodynamically managed agriculture, the wines and sparkling wines develop in an even more uncompromising and precise direction, expressing the full potential of their origin.
